Hand-rinse your rash guard with cool water right after taking it off
Never use hot water, only cool or lukewarm
Turn the garment inside out and hand wash using a biodegradable soap
It’s best to use a shampoo or cleaner designed for cleaning rash guards or wetsuits
Hang dry away from direct sun or heat
Don’t fold or ball up the garment because it can weaken the fabric
Don’t leave it in the trunk of your car because it can be damaged by heat

Based on my height of 5’10” and 160lbs and chest size of 40” I bought a large based on the sizing chart. The fit is perfect. The quality is the best. I like the extra length and the band at the bottom that keeps the shirt from riding up. I wear this for wingboarding underneath a wetsuit. This is actually the best first layer shirt I have worn. Would buy another one.
Held up after ten days of surfing in El Salvador. However it should be less black as it attracts heat especially in the hot sun. And need a hood option.
Really good waist band.
I've had o'neill and neil pryde rashguards for years, but both feel cheap compared to the build quality of the Platinum Sun... the style is more flattering as well. the little rubber strip is actually more durable & functional than the drawstring tie style from those other brands. every detail was considered when this was designed- you can really feel the difference!

Rashguard for kitesurfing
I am always kitesurfing with the rashguard and it never failed me. This is the most comfortable rashguard I wear when I kite, and it holds really well. I also like the color and design, and just by looking at it makes me wanna go to the water. Thank you Platinum Sun for making this really awesome product. Looking forward to more designs.

Great fit and Comfortable
The fit on this rashguard is spot on! I never had this much of a high quality rashguard and fits great on me. It also does good in water and I really like that it holds in place. It is also breathable enough to do workouts in and I can wear this everyday when doing watersports activities.

Good surfing rashguard
My son loves surfing so I bought him this nice rashguard. I didn't expect it to be this good as I know how regular rashguards are. This is definitely better than most rashguards and the fit on him is just how he wants it -- not too tight but still holds in place. He really likes it and asked me to buy more from this company.

Used it in Bali this month for dscuba diving and snorkeling. Will use it for swimming in some lakes this summer in Oregon. Really like the garment. It fits snugly but not too tight and looks great too.
bought one of these surf shirts last year and it performs.
Stays in place even when waves are rough in the ocean. Getting ready for snorkeling trip to the caribbean this year and bought a second one for the trip. outstanding quality, tight sretchy fit was exactly what I was hoping for and these deliver.
I FlowRide regularly and I beat on my rash guards. I am in FL so I use them year round. The "Men's Long Sleeve Rash Guard/Gradient Red" is very nice. The rash guard seems to me made well. Stitching & seams appear to be good quality. Colors and graphic design are really nice but not over done- cool sporty look. Based on the size chart, I went with an large. I am 6'1", 220 lbs with a 34" waist. The fit was very tight for me but in the water, it seemed OK- if you are my size, I would go with an XL or XXL. Sleeve length was long on me and the hem from the bellybutton down was quite long. I liked the item a lot- I might purchase a larger size and have it altered to fit me better. If you are on the thinner/ physically fit side, you will look great in one of these.

I own a lot of rash guards and this is one of the best so far. Nicely made and fits tight . I am 5 feet 9 and 185 and an X-LARGE was perfect if you like it tight. If you prefer loose size up 1 size.
Very nice Fabric
I really like the quality of this rash guard. The material is extremely soft and stretchy, which I really like. It has a nice silicon line at the bottom which is great to keep it in place. This is my boyfriend's favorite rash guard now.

I was very pleased with this rash guard. The quality of the product was high, and it is exactly as described on the website. I am 6" 3' and 190 lbs, got the XL, fits me perfectly. I was looking for something to protect me from the sun. This rash guard shirt does the job. Comfortable UPF 30 fabric, appealing design. The high neckline keeps my neck from burning in the hot TX sun. I love the fit, the design, and the quality of this rash guard. I will be ordering another one soon.
Great Rash guard
I'm very picky when it comes to rashguards. The fit is important, as well as the feel. I am so happy with my Platinum Sun rashguard because it protects me from the sun and also keeps me warm when the wind is blowing really hard. This Rashguard is very comfortable, and I love the way it fits! This Rashguard is neither too tight nor too loose, and it doesn't ride up my back. It stays in place, which is what I need when I'm kitesurfing.

Awesome Rashguard
I was looking for a good quality rash guard for my husband that works well in surfing. I ordered the XXL rash guard from Platinum Sun for my husband, who is 6 foot 2 inches and about 185 lbs. It is a perfect fit for him, not too tight at all! It is of high quality, fits great, is durable, and it keeps him warm. I will definitely purchase more of these in the future!

I bought this for a week-long vacation to the Caribbean. I am 6 inches tall and weigh 180 pounds, and the large fits me well. I used it snorkeling for a week and was amazed at its comfort. The material is comfy and moves with you; it doesn't ride up or bind. The higher neckline makes it work great as a stand-alone shirt versus taking sunscreen on your neck like your standard rash guard. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for an athletic fit shirt that is great for water sports or covering up after getting sandy on the beach.
