Why limestone neoprene

Limestone-based neoprene is softer and stretchier than the standard petroleum kind, so the suit bends with you instead of resisting you. That is the difference between a session that ends because you are tired and one that ends because your suit wore you out.

Cut for a woman, not scaled down from a man's

Men's and women's wetsuits differ far more than rash guards do, because the torso length and shape change how water moves inside the suit. A men's suit on a woman usually gapes somewhere, and a gap means cold water flushing through.

What to wear underneath

A swimsuit, ideally one with a sports-bra shape so nothing digs in under the neoprene. A thin rash guard underneath adds warmth and stops any rubbing at the neck and shoulders.

Pull a neoprene jacket over the top between sessions. It blocks the wind that steals your heat the moment you stand up wet, and it works over a wetsuit without you having to change.
