Sunscreen comes off in the water long before the label says it will, and nobody stops mid session to put more on. Fabric doesn't come off. That is the whole idea behind this collection.
UPF 50+ rash guards, swim leggings and swimsuits that block around 98% of UVA and UVB rays, dry fast, and move with you instead of fighting you. Designed in Miami by two sisters who kitesurf, for people who spend all day outside and want their skin to feel fine at dinner.
What's in here
- Rash guards and swim shirts. Long sleeve UPF 50+ for men and women, in a second-skin fit that doesn't ride up on the board.
- Swim leggings. Full leg coverage against sun, jellyfish, sandbars and board rash.
- One-piece swimsuits. Long sleeve UPF 50+ coverage in a single piece, with nothing to keep adjusting.
- Sunglasses and accessories. Floating polarized lenses, a dry bag, sand-free towels.
Why UPF 50+ beats sunscreen on the water
Sunscreen needs a fresh coat every couple of hours, and wind and water strip it much faster than that. UPF 50+ fabric blocks around 98% of UV rays for the whole session instead, with no white face, no greasy hands on your bar or your paddle, and nothing rinsing off into the water. Put sunscreen on whatever the fabric doesn't cover and you're set for the day.
When should you wear a rash guard instead of a swimsuit?
Any time you're out longer than an hour, and any time gear touches your skin. A rash guard works as a swim shirt at the pool and as real protection on the water, where it stops board rash, harness chafe, jellyfish stings and scrapes on a sandbar. Wear it swimming, paddling, snorkeling, or over a bikini on a boat, and nobody has to feel like they're wearing less than they want to.
Wet or dry, and which is which
Rash guards are built to be worn wet. The fabric cools you as the water evaporates, and that is where it feels best, so we don't recommend them as an all-day casual top when they're dry. Our Active series is the exception, because it uses the same soft fabric as the leggings and stays comfortable dry. The leggings themselves go anywhere: water, gym, yoga, travel, the rest of your day.
How to pair it
One bright piece, one solid. A printed rash guard with solid leggings, or solid on top with a printed bottom. Two big prints together fight each other, and the outfit stops looking designed and starts looking loud.
Why we make it all in bright prints
Most water sports gear is black, and it was designed that way for men who did not think much about it. Ours is not. You can find your own gear on a crowded beach, people can see you on the water, and you look like yourself while doing the sport you love. That was the whole reason two sisters started this brand in Miami.
Made for long days
Kitesurfing, surfing, wing foiling, SUP, snorkeling, diving, fishing, boat days and pool laps. For cold and windy days, the neoprene jackets and wetsuits live on their own pages.
